Dec.14th Movie Night
December 14, 2017 @ 7:00 pm
This is our very first official night of movie viewings!
Both of these movies are very very rated R. And are holiday-adjacent themed.
(Corresponds with first video in comments section)
Hint: This movie is based on the one true Lord of Christmas, not that Santa nerd.
(Corresponds with the second video in the comments)
Hint: Guillermo del Toro directed this beautiful and gory gothic romance.
This is picnic-style movie viewing. Bring your own floor pillows/quilts & snacks. (At this time we ask that you not bring alcohol on to the premises.)
(Due to ridiculous laws that you should write your representatives about, we can not advertise the title of the movies we show, or the characters. Historically artists could be counted on to subvert the boundaries imposed on them and feed the flames of culture and community. So in the spirit of community, we will offer you a game of charades, a hint for every movie, and in return we ask that you throw in your guesses for the sake of thoae who are struggling to figure it out. We want you all to see these movies, they’re hand curated by my husband and me, for their cultural significance, artful execution and pure unadulterated bizarreness. We picked them specifically to effect you guys and hopefully enrich the local community through shared experience. So please, watch the video and share your best guesses, we can’t wait to show this one to you guys in December!)
Share your guesses in the comments under our “movie night” event page!
